This Tecnoseal kit replaces the sacrificial anodes on Mercury Bravo 2 and Bravo 3 sterndrives up to 2003, in magnesium, with the hardware included. Magnesium is the right choice for older Bravo drives that live in fresh water.

Choosing the right anode metal

Fresh water: magnesium.

Salt water: zinc or aluminum. Never use magnesium in salt water.

Brackish water: aluminum is usually the most versatile choice.
