Recommended spring order
- Rinse off loose grit before scrubbing.
- Wash the hull, deck, console, nonskid, lockers, and seats.
- Remove mildew, black streaks, and hull stains before waxing.
- Use compound only if gelcoat is dull or chalky.
- Apply wax or protectant to clean surfaces.
- For saltwater boats, treat hardware, trailer, rails, and fittings after rinsing.
